OVERVIEW OF AAA ENVIRONMENTAL'S COMPANY HISTORY

AAA Environmental (AAA), founded in 1987, is headquartered in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

The employees of AAA are accredited in multiple states in a wide-range of asbestos, lead, indoor environmental quality, and environmental consulting services. These services include project design, air monitoring, Phase I and limited Phase II environmental site assessments, inspections, management planning, and serving as the building owner's representative during remediation projects. Our staff includes three Certified Indoor Air Quality Professionals, a Certified Indoor Environmentalist, a Certified EIFS (Exterior Insulation Finish System) Inspector, a Registered Environmental Property Assessor, a Certified Safety Professional, two Certified Industrial Hygienists, and several industrial hygienists.

Since 1989, AAA has offered training and professional accreditation courses at their principal training center in Spartanburg. With its national student-base, AAA also provides clients with onsite training at the client’s location of choice. These courses include training in asbestos, lead, and OSHA Compliance, with the asbestos and lead courses being fully approved by the Environmental Protection Agency. Courses are now offered on mold remediation and investigation, in conjunction with Case Institute.

AAA has completed environmental surveys and investigations for textile facilities and institutional sites in many states, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Iowa, and Illinois. Clients facilities included large, multi-storied and multi-building facilities to small single story buildings. Other environmental services include asbestos, indoor air quality (mold), and lead-based paint surveys, project design/management for environmental remediation projects. AAA also can test for lead in water, environmental site assessments, ambient air monitoring, noise surveys, and safety audits.
 

CONSULTING/LABORATORY SERVICES

Our role is to serve as an independent consultant. As such, we are not affiliated with any contracting firm.

AAA's consulting services include:

The majority (approximately 40%) of AAA's accounts have been from private industry, commercial office buildings, and environmental contracting firms. Typical accounts include industrial facilities, power companies, banks, and hospitals.

Approximately 30% of AAA's accounts have been from the public sector. Typical public accounts include public/private school systems, apartment complexes, and city/county governments.

The remaining 30% of AAA's revenues have been from its training facility. Courses cover asbestos, lead, indoor air quality remediation and investigation, and OSHA compliance disciplines.

AAA has served in leadership roles and is a member or past member of several professional organizations interrelating with the environmental field. A service-oriented company, AAA makes public awareness seminars and informational presentations a part of their ongoing commitment to public service.
